Vasubandhu was a Buddhist teacher who lived in India in the fourth century. He developed a series of reflections to help cultivate the 'Bodhicitta': the heart or mind resolved on universal Awakening. Here Vajratara leads a meditation focusing on these reflections in the context of a Three Fold Puja. This is a recording from a ordination training retreat at Tiratanaloka focussing on Sanghrakshita's series of talks 'The Meaning of Conversion in Buddhism'.
The Four Factors are:
1. Recollecting the the Buddha
2. Seeing the faults of conditioned existence
3. Observing the suffering of beings
4. Contemplating the virtues of the Tathagathas
