The Raincloud

by Satyalila (2019)

Satyalila starts with the Parable of Raincloud and explores how important it is to allow ourselves to become 'our most authentic selves' - 'To be great, be whole. Don't exaggerate or leave out any part of you", as the poet Fernando Pessoa sings.

After journeying through a celebration of our diversity (including timely advice from the poet William Stafford), the talk concludes with seven more of Vessantara's practical tips, including how to stay resourced and balanced, recognizing your sphere of influence, using the Dharma as an anchor and the crucial role of community.

This talk is part of the series Responding to the Burning World.
