Mindfulness of Dhammas (LWFA Week 5)

by Viryanaga

This introduction to mindfulness of dhammas, or teachings, highlights how we experience a special kind of pleasure when we do something that brings us into contact with our virtues and strengths. Mindfulness of dhammas means training ourselves to notice that when we act out of positive states of mind and emotion we feel happier, and that this awareness is a special kind of vigilance that can be truly transformative, both in terms of our minds and our behaviour.

Talk given as part of a Life with Full Attention Course at Brixton Triratna, January 2017.

The corresponding book ‘Life with Full Attention’ by Maitreyabandhu is available from www.windhorsepublications.com
