The second talk (in a series of five) to participants in the 2016 National Network of Buddhist Youth conference looks at what it means to be a bodhisattva largely in terms of what he or she is not. Pointing out that attachment to a sense of a permanent “I” creates suffering, Subhuti says that the essence of Buddhism lies in becoming free from self attachment.
