Swarming Dharma, Insects In Buddhism

by Yashobodhi (2016)

The flies in the temple,
imitate the hands
of the people with prayer beads.

Yashobodhi explores how insects can help us reflect on some of the core teachings of the Buddha.
In this experimental talk, Yashobodhi uses Japanese poetry and examples from the Buddhist canon, as well as drawing on what she has learnt from past insect encounters.
