Integration Day 5 Afternoon Session

by Vessantara (2016)

Recorded on the Integration retreat at Adhisthana, February 2016. From The Mandala of Spiritual Practice series of retreats at Adhisthana.

Vessantara responds to a question about working with fabricating romance on retreat, bringing awareness to psychological projection, unhooking from both the object and the subject, and sitting with the bare experience of tanha. Then he goes on to explore the last of the four reminders, the shortcomings of samsara, and how we create the world we live in. We need to realise the three levels of Dukkha, and recognise that happiness can only come from a mind that sees and understands how things are and a heart that is open to all life.

This talk is part of the series Integration.
