The first in a series of talks by Subhuti entitled Beyond Barriers.
The National Network of Buddhist Youth Convention 2014 was held at the Hsuan Tsang Retreat Centre in Bordharan, Maharashtra, India from 26th - 31st December. Subhuti led with this series of five talks given to over 650 young people.
Can we all together create a genuine democracy? Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar said that democracy is ultimately an attitude of mind, a matter of maitri. Subhuti explores three vital elements in the experiment to create democracy - taking responsibility, breaking down barriers and developing respect.
The talks are given in English and translated into Hindi by Bharati Shetty.
