In 'Buddhism for Today and Tomorrow', we hear that one of Sangharakshita’s main concerns in founding the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order was to revive the fundamental teachings of the Buddha, making them relevant to modern Western life. In doing so, he envisaged the the FWBO as having four clear things to offer.
