Third in a five-part series given to the Chapter Convenors meeting of the Western Buddhist Order at a time when the various systems of training and support within the Order and FWBO began to change. Here he is beginning to look at his main topic for the series - the 'Chapter System' within the Order itself. Subhuti is exploring new ways of doing things and this is good material - especially as his thinking throughout is based on an in-depth look at each of the traditional 'Four Means of Unification'. Priyavadita (kindly speech) is the theme for this talk.
Talk given at Padmaloka Retreat Centre, March 2002
