by Sangharakshita

The human psyche is partly conscious and partly unconscious. To understand the content of our unconscious depths, we must be receptive to the non-rational language of archetypal symbolism. The lecture looks at four incidents in the Buddha's life and their archetypal significance.

Talk given in 1967.

This talk is part of the series Aspects of Buddhist Psychology.
